The school actively promote the safe use of digital technology to staff, students and parents. With this in mind we have developed the Portal which acts as a digital planner for students. It includes curriculum, homework, behaviour and achievement information at the click of a button. This will be expanded to parents over the coming months.
We have also made Office 365 available to allow documents to be taken home and edited online. This also includes a school email account for all students. The login information is detailed below.
The Portal (Moodle) is designed to give teachers, students and parents’ access to the curriculum outside of the classroom. It will allow students to complete homework and other activities from home. As a parent you will be issued with a user name and password to give you access to your child’s behaviour and attendance information.
The school is also trialing an online planner with Year 7 from September 2015. This will allow parents to check what homework has been set and when it is due in. This username and password will be issued in the autumn term.

Your Holy Family school login and password will be needed to gain access.
Office 365 Education gives teachers and students everything they need to communicate and collaborate, and in doing so aid learning. It is a cloud based application that the school have provided for students to enhance learning. You need an internet connection and either a laptop, desktop computer, tablet or smart phone. You can use Office 365 on up to 6 devices at home.
You can use it to save and create Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents. You also have a new email account which you can use for school purposes. Your work will then follow you around whenever and wherever you log in to the account.
