A Smooth Transition

The majority of our students are very familiar with the Holy Family Catholic School by the time they join us in Year 7. As well as Year 6 students moving into the The Holy Family to work on transition projects, our year 7 Acheivement Leader and other members of staff visit schools to meet and work with the children. The staff liaise with the primary colleagues so that we know as much as possible about each child before they join us. In July all prospective Year 7 students spend two days in school taking part in activities and getting to know their future classmates and teachers.
