The 2014-15 school year will see the Golden Jubilee of the school. The first cohort of students arrived in September 1964 with the official opening in May 1965. While there will be the “official” celebration on May 16th 2015 (details tbc), we intend to keep the whole year as a festival with events both large and small throughout.

We hope that the jubilee year will have some lasting legacy. Just as, 50 years ago, the community funded the provision of a new school we also want the year to leave something that will provide for future generations of students. It has long been an aspiration to bring the all-weather pitch up to modern standards and that is the subject of our Legacy Appeal.
